How it started.
Sharon Fellowship Church was originally founded by Rev. P.J. Thomas in Kerala, India, in the early 1950s. He felt a calling to return home to India, where he settled in Thiruvilla, Kerala, after purchasing a property that would eventually become the Sharon compound.
Sharon Fellowship Churches of North America (SFCNA) had its beginning in the heart of a few believers at the 1995 Pentecostal Conference of North American Keralites (PCNAK) in Dallas.

Meet our Pastor
Pastor. Mani Varghese was born and raised in Kerala, India. He has been the Senior Pastor of Sharon Fellowship Church of Kansas since 2019. He was born and raised in a Syrian Christian Jacobite family in Kerala.
At the age of 18, he accepted the Lord as his personal Savior and joined the Pentecostal faith thereafter. He married Mariyamma Varghese and they are blessed with three amazing kids: Eben, Emi, and Aby.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Calicut University in Kerala, a Bachelor’s in Theology from BBC Punalur, a Master’s in Arts (History) from Annamalai University, Madras, a Master’s in Theology from the Asian Institute of Arts and Theology, Calcutta, and a Doctorate in Ministry completed at UTS, New York, USA.
Pastor Mani Varghese has conducted instructional sessions and ministered at numerous institutions in India, Qatar, Seattle, and Oklahoma. He is committed to enriching and empowering the Church through the exposition of Scripture, delivering impactful and pragmatic sermons, promoting sincere and genuine worship, and engaging in outreach to the unreached, inspired by the compassionate love demonstrated by Jesus.
